About

"Art is born from even the most grotesque and horrific human experience.
Art is creation and creation is beautiful.
This helps me stomach even the most unpalatable in the world."

Susan has long been a lover of visual arts.
She has always been an avid photographer and in recent years has been exploring and developing her skills in fine arts.

For years Susan used drawing to break through writers block in song writing, and for 'journaling' through complicated emotions.  During a long hiatus from music she found herself turning to visual art more and more for a creative outlet.

She first began painting pieces for her own home where her passion was ignited and she quickly ran out of wall space.

Susan works predominantly in Acryilic but is constantly experimenting with new materials and styles.

Susans photography is often focused on the natural world.  She calls herself the 'Plant Paparazzi' and can often be found harassing her iris's and daisies.  Insects, mountains and water are regular subjects in her work.
